Recipe of the Black Countess Bishop's punch Ingredients2 lemon and cloves1 l of Port1/2 l of water mixed spices (1 teaspoon)60 g of sugar Preparation Place some cloves in a well washed lemon, then place in the oven at 170° for 30 minutes. Heat one litre of Port, bringing it to the boil and, at the same time, set aside half a litre of water flavoured with a teaspoon of mixed spices. in a salad bowl pour the two boiling liquids, add the lemon removed from the oven and 60 gr. of sugar soaked in the juice of another lemon. mix, filter and serve hot punch in the glasses. |
